From 695 (the Baltimore beltway) take I-70 East (towards the park and ride). Go to the end of I-70 and turn a hard-left into the parking area.
From 695 (the Baltimore beltway) take the Falls Road - South exit. Take Falls Road to entrance for the Light Rail station on the left. Follow the signs to the parking area.
From Northern Parkway take Falls Road – West. Follow signs to the Light Rail Station on right. Follow the signs to the parking area.
From 695 (the Baltimore Beltway) take the Jones Falls Expressway – South exit. Afterwards, take the North Avenue exit. Make a left onto North Avenue. Stay in left lane. Make the next immediate left turn into the Light Rail Station parking lot.
From North Avenue (going west), cross the bridge after passing N. Howard Street; Just after passing exit for Jones Falls Expressway, make a right turn into Light Rail Station parking lot.
From North Avenue(going east), after passing Park Avenue, get into the left lane. Go pass the exit for the Jones Falls Expressway, make a left turn into the Light Rail Station parking lot.
From 695(the Baltimore beltway) take I-70 East (towards the park and ride). Take exit 94 (Security Blvd), stay in the right lane. At the light make a right turn onto Forest Park Avenue. Go to the next light; make a right turn onto Windsor Mill Road. 5100 Windsor Mill Road is the 4th house (yellow house with blue awnings) on the left side of the street. You can park on the street in front of the house.
From 695 (the Baltimore beltway) take I-70 East (towards the park and ride). Take exit 94 (Security Blvd), stay in the right lane. At the light make a right turn onto Forest Park Avenue. Go to the next light; make a right turn onto Windsor Mill Road. Go down street, approximately two blocks, make a right turn onto Eagle Drive. Follow Eagle Drive (past tennis courts) as it loops in a circle. You will come to the Pavilion on your right side.
From 695 (the Baltimore beltway) take I-70 East (towards the park and ride). Take exit 94 (Security Blvd), stay in the right lane. Just before the light, make a right turn onto Forest Park Avenue. At the next street, Franklintown Road, make a right turn. Go 50 ft, make a right turn and go down a sloping street, stop at the stop sign. Make a left turn onto Franklintown Road. Follow Franklintown Road to the Gwynns Falls Park parking lot on the left.
From Rockville Take 270 south to I-495. Drive south on I-495. Just before the American Legion Bridge, exit on to the Clara Barton Parkway, going west. Exit at Carderock. Turn left at the end of the ramp, taking the bridge over the parkway and into the Park. Turn right at the stop sign and drive to the last parking lot, which is the climber's parking lot.
From Washington DC Get on the Clara Barton Parkway in Georgetown and drive west. Exit at Carderock. Turn left at the end of the ramp, taking the bridge over the parkway and into the Park. Turn right at the stop sign and drive to the last parking lot, which is the climber's parking lot. Another variation, more popular for those in Tenleytown and Cleveland Park, is to get on Massachusetts Ave. aiming out of town. Take Massachusetts until you get to Goldsboro Road (Rt. 614). Turn left on Goldsboro. Turn right on Mac Arthur, going past Glen Echo. Go over the one lane bridge and turn left at the next stop sign. There will be signs for the Clara Barton Parkway and I-495 at this intersection. Veer right onto the ramp going west on the Clara Barton. Exit at Carderock. From Northern Virginia Take I-495 north, past Tyson's Corner. Drive over the American Legion Bridge and exit at the Clara Barton Parkway/Carderock exit. Drive west on the Parkway. Exit at Carderock. Turn left at the end of the ramp, taking the bridge over the parkway and into the Park. Turn right at the stop sign and drive to the last parking lot, which is the climber's parking lot. From Baltimore Take 95-South to 495-West. Take the Clara Barton Parkway Exit. Get on the Clara Barton Parkway and drive west. Exit at Carderock. Turn left at the end of the ramp, taking the bridge over the parkway and into the Park. Turn right at the stop sign and drive to the last parking lot, which is the climber's parking lot.
Take Route 50 to Annapolis Exit 22 (Rt. 665 East/Aris T. Allen Blvd), follow past the exits for Riva Rd and Rt. 2. Rt. 665 becomes Forest Drive (East). Continue straight for three miles. At traffic light for Hillsmere Drive, turn right (Signs for Quiet Waters Park on your right). Park entrance is 100 yards on the right. There is a $4 vehicle entrance fee. Follow signs to boat rentals. The dock is a short walk down Harness Creek Trail.
